Wow, tonight is cold. Really cold. Ever since reading The Little House On The Prairie books when I was little I’ve had a secret plan to become a bedding-hoarder. You just never know when you’re going to run out of cow chips, get snowed in or have to care for lost wanderers rescued from the freezing night. It sparked in me a secret belief that a good wife/mother/woman will always have enough bedding. Your family will survive or perish on the amount of bedding you possess! This great bedding ambition hasn’t really been accomplished, or even begun yet, because the practicality of storing vast amounts of duvets, blankets, sheets and pillows just, well, isn’t. Practical I mean. Even my own biggest duvet seems to have disappeared since last winter so I am currently relying on my electric blanket.
Speaking of which, it’s been on for a fair while now, so I might go brush my teeth (brrr, chilly) and jump in! Before I forget - I added a new link today – AngryAsianMan.com. It’s a site/blog which comments on a vast volume and variety of all things related to Asian Americans and Asians in general in the news. He’s a pretty cool guy who seems pretty onto it – and he hates racism! On his site I read about a movie by director John Kwon called Always Be Boyz, about a group of Korean b-boys. Despite the slightly sucky looking trailer, the movie seems like it could be quite interesting, so if I get the opportunity I might check it out. Not sure that it’s one bf would like to see, though.
