I found a new cute thing! And believe me, I had to fight my way there – through pages full of pink lacy-ness, tinkling music and cursors showering pink strawberries. But then I found it! Puricute! When you’re in an arcade and you see those Japanese photo-booths don’t you always wanna jump in there and pull a cute pose, but are too embarrassed? Aren’t you jealous of those girls (and guys) who have cute little photos of them and their friends with cute frames stuck to their credit cards, cell phones etc? I know you are.
But now you don’t have to be! Puricute is a site where you can upload a pic from your own computer and use the tools provided to decorate it. There are heaps of cute frames to choose from, different coloured pens to write in, sticker, phrases in English and Japanese or Korean (some of which you understand and some you don’t but don’t care) and even a softening/blurry tool which most of us need in those close ups. Some of the stuff is animated so I guess if you’re registered they’ll give you a code to copy it into your blog.
The site is full of hott girls uploading pictures of themselves, and apparently you have to register (for free) to be able to save your pics. When you’re done you hit a red button which says “Publish Photo”. I don’t know what happens next because – hello – I so don’t need my picture on the site amongst those glamour queens. So I cheat and hit the ‘Printscreen‘ button on my keyboard, then Ctrl + V paste it into an image program. That’s right. I’m bad!
So there ya go, go have a play (you know you want to!) “Puricute.com – cuter than you!”
